F4R overview
F4R is a high-metallic composite blended with carbon particles, engineered to bite hard the moment the pedal moves. It is the F Series pad for heavy cars, high grip and small discs, where a progressive pad simply cannot generate enough torque quickly enough.
Fade resistance and fast bedding
Nominal friction is around 0.50μ, marginally below F2R, but the curve is flat and predictable across the whole 100–500°C window and the compound is famously resistant to fade at extreme temperature. It also beds in unusually quickly, so a fresh set can go on the morning of an event without a dedicated bedding session.

How quickly does F4R bed in?
F4R beds in faster than any other pad in the range. A fresh set can be fitted on the morning of an event and brought up to temperature in the first session.
Does F4R fade at high temperature?
No. The friction curve stays flat to 500°C and the compound is known for resisting fade at extreme temperatures, which is why it suits heavy cars that punish their brakes.
