F6R overview

F6R is the calmer F Series pad: medium-to-low torque with full racing temperature capability. Not every corner of a race car needs maximum torque, and F6R was created for the axle that is easy to lock, the surface that is easy to lose, and the driver who values confidence over outright bite.

Forgiving pressure build with racing heat capacity

F6R carries the same high-temperature stability as the rest of the F range but delivers it with a gentler, more forgiving build of pressure. It was developed for NASCAR rear-axle use, where repeatability lap after lap mattered more than peak deceleration.

Typical F6R applications

Track days, loose-surface rally, saloon and sedan racing, single seaters, historic racing on period tyres, and the rear axle of front-wheel-drive or live-axle cars where too much rear torque unsettles the chassis.

Is F6R a good rear pad?

Yes. It is one of the most common rear pads in the range, paired with an F2R, F4R or MRM1805 front to keep the brake balance stable and stop the rear locking under heavy braking.

Can F6R be used on gravel?

Yes. Its gentle, forgiving build of pressure makes it well suited to gravel and loose-surface rally, and to low-grip historic cars on period tyres.
