How M1144 behaves on track
The pedal is soft and progressive, making it easy to trail-brake and easy to live with, and the compound is deliberately gentle on cast-iron discs. It shines in disciplines where the brakes never get properly hot and consistency from the first corner matters more than peak deceleration.

Track days, karts, hill climbs, sprints, club rally, lightweight single seaters and off-road use. On heavier or higher-grip cars that build serious brake temperature, step up to MRM1805 or an F Series pad.

No. M1144 is a competition compound for track and motorsport use. For a road-legal pad with similar cold bite choose MRM1801 FR, and for a copper-free track successor choose MRM1802.
