M1155 overview

M1155 was built around one idea: consistency. Its friction level sits a little over 0.40μ and stays there, with a curve so flat that the pedal effort needed for a given stop barely changes whether the discs are cool at the start of a stage or fully heat-soaked at the end.

Temperature range and fade resistance

Fade resistance runs to around 600°C with usable friction beyond that. Because it modulates so predictably, M1155 suits drivers who brake on feel rather than force, and it works from cold without the extreme bite of an F Series material.

Typical M1155 applications

Track days, Group A and Group N rally, hill climbs, sprints, formula cars and dirt track. It is also an excellent rear-axle pad behind a higher-torque front compound.
