MRM1801 FR is the road-legal pad in the Mintex Racing range and the replacement for M1144 on road applications. It is ECE R90 approved, copper-free and rated at 0.46μ, which puts it well beyond a normal performance road pad while keeping full type approval for the public highway.
Performance on the road and on track
A thermal underlayer between the friction material and the backing plate slows heat transfer into the caliper, so the pad keeps working at track-day temperatures instead of falling away after a few hot laps. Cold bite is strong enough for everyday driving, and pedal feel improves as the pad warms rather than degrading.
Who MRM1801 FR is for
Performance road cars, road-registered track cars and daily drivers that see occasional track days on OEM calipers. It is the right choice when one set of pads has to cover the commute, the weekend drive and a trackday without a pad swap.

Yes. The thermal underlayer keeps it working at track-day temperatures, so it does not fade the way a standard road pad does. For dedicated track cars that never see the road, MRM1802 or MRM1805 will last longer and offer more torque.
