MRM1805 is where the current Mintex Racing range delivers its most torque. An average friction of 0.57μ puts it well above M1166, the compound it replaces, yet the pedal remains controllable thanks to a torque curve that climbs smoothly rather than spiking.
Mechanical retention and thermal underlayer
Two construction changes make the performance possible. A mechanical retention system locks the friction material to the backing plate for much higher shear strength, which matters on heavy, high-grip cars, and a thermal underlayer manages heat flow so the pad keeps performing deep into a stint. It is copper-free.
