Hawk DTC-60 brake pads are engineered for race cars generating high deceleration rates and elevated brake temperatures, with an effective range of roughly 200–870°C (400–1600°F). DTC-60 combines high torque and strong initial bite with excellent modulation and release characteristics.

Widely used across GT, touring car and formula racing, DTC-60 is also commonly paired with DTC-70 when split friction between axles is desired. It is a dedicated motorsport compound and is not suitable for road use.
