High torque without the snatch. A NASCAR-bred carbon-metallic pad with a soft initial bite and a very long, readable threshold.
F2R was formulated for fast, powerful cars that make their grip mechanically rather than through downforce. Instead of hitting hard at the top of the pedal, it builds torque progressively, which gives you a wide band between first contact and wheel lock. Drivers who trail-brake deep into the apex tend to gravitate to it for exactly that reason.
Once the discs are up to temperature the compound sits at around 0.52µ and holds there; the friction curve is flat from 100°C right through to 500°C. Pad life and disc finish are both excellent for a material with this much torque, which is why it is so common in sprint and short-endurance formats where a set has to last a weekend.
