The road-legal Mintex Racing pad. M1144-style cold bite for the commute, a thermal underlayer for the track day, no copper anywhere in it.
MRM1801 FR replaces M1144 on road applications and is the only compound in this range you can legally run on the public highway. It is ECE R90 approved, which means it has been tested to the same standard as original-equipment pads, yet its 0.46µ friction and strong low-temperature response put it well beyond a normal performance road pad.
The clever part is the thermal underlayer between the friction material and the backing plate. It slows heat transfer into the caliper and lets the pad keep working at track-day temperatures, so it doesn't fall away after three hot laps the way a road pad does. Feel through the pedal improves as it warms rather than degrading.
