MRM1805 is where the current Mintex Racing range delivers its most torque. An average friction of 0.57µ puts it well above M1166, yet the pedal remains controllable thanks to a torque curve that climbs smoothly rather than spiking. Drivers moving across from M1166 report a noticeably shorter braking zone with no loss of feel.
Two construction changes make that possible. A mechanical retention system locks the friction material to the backing plate for much higher shear strength, which matters on heavy, high-grip cars, and a thermal underlayer manages heat flow so the pad keeps performing deep into a stint. Together they extend both the temperature ceiling and the service life of the pad.
