PBS ProComp S1 brake pads are a high-metallic race compound with a friction range of 0.47–0.50mu and a working temperature range of 50–800°C. The S1 offers the best low-temperature performance in the ProComp range, with high bite and strong friction available almost immediately.

That instant performance makes the S1 ideal for sprint, race and rally applications where brakes must work hard from the first corner, and it has proven itself at the highest level in TCR competition. It is a dedicated race compound and not intended for road use.
